FLUID BED PROCESSOR DESCRIPTION OF MACHINE

Complete machine can be divided in following sub sections :

  1. Inlet air handling unit
  2. Machine tower (Bottom chamber, product container, Retarding Chamber, Expansion Chamber)
  3. Spray system

Inlet Air Handling Unit

It consists of pre air filter, final filter, air heating unit. Inlet air handling unit receives air from the environment.

Machine Tower

Product container and Main body is sealed from the Outside atmosphere. Pressure measuring devices are mounted to measure the pressure between the bottom chamber and the product container & main body and product container. Proximity switch is also mounted to ensure that the product container is fully in place. Temperature measuring device is also mounted to measure the temperature of the product in the product bowl. Main body consists of filter bag unit, filter sealing and filter locking system. Filter bag unit prevents the product particles from exiting the machine tower. Also filter sealing ensures that the filter is secured and that the air exiting the machine tower flows only through the filter.

Spraying System

It consists of peristaltic pump, spray gun assembly, pressure control valve & atomizing air valve. Main function of the spraying system is to spray the binder uniformly above the fluidized powder mass.
